Clinic Intake Coordinator The Clinic Intake Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors in the cancer clinic, under direct supervision of the Practice Manager. This role is critical in creating a welcoming, compassionate, and efficient environment while managing administrative tasks that support patient care and clinical operations. Responsibilities Shift: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with flexibility to work 4–10 hour shifts if needed and alternate shift Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM. Provide front‑desk assistance and patient orientation in the clinic. Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow‑up appointments. Verify patient insurance eligibility and manage prior authorization requests. Maintain patient records and clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow. Assist with clerical and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2–3 years of experience in healthcare administration, medical office, or oncology clinic setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with sensitivity to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Proficiency in medical scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
