Summary You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Hazardous Material Control and Management Program of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF. Duties You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Hazardous Material Control and Management Program of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF. Requirements Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing knowledge and application of supply chain management and software to provide logistical support for services such as receiving, shipping, distribution and delivery of services and materials. Specialized experience must include: 1) Complying with Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) storage requirements and regulations, labeling, and procedures; 2) Maintaining shipment of inventory and inspecting materials for compliance with regulations; 3) Resolving discrepancies within inventory management and customer service; 4) Utilising automated systems for inventorying and recording records.
