CDL A Driver

Job Description: At Bulkmatic you are more than just a truck driver. You'll operate pneumatic equipment, manage relationships with customers and be empowered to make the right decisions for your deliveries - All while being part of a team that leads in the dry bulk shipping industry. Home Time For this position our drivers will do a combination of local and regional work. Driver should expect to be out an average of 1-2 nights every week. Drivers should expect to work some weekends from time to time as well. Pay At our Winston Salem Terminal drivers currently average between $85,000- $95,000 per year. Drivers are paid weekly. We are now offering a $3,000 BONUS for new hires in Winston Salem. About The Job Being a driver for Bulkmatic is a more physical job than driving for many other companies. Two-thirds of your time will be driving. The rest of the time will be loading, unloading using the pneumatic systems and interacting with customers. We have extensive training on our safety procedures and the pneumatic equipment. No Pneumatic Experience Required. No Hazmat endorsement required. We do ask that drivers for this position be willing to get HM126 certified. Job Requirements: Be at least 23 years old to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle interstate Must possess a valid Class A CDL with at least 1-year Tractor Trailer driving experience. Driving Experience should be within the past 10 years; within the past 5 years is preferred. Military driving experience will be considered. Be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records Be physically and mentally qualified to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid medical certificate as defined by the FMCSA Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the rules and regulations set forth by the FMCSA Meet all the requirements and be able to perform all of the tasks and essential duties of the job description You must have a valid CDL Class A license in the State that you reside in or in cases of recent relocation the ability to change license within 30 days. Hazmat endorsement required at certain locations. Tank endorsement not required for dry bulk. Must not have more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years. No Speeding Violations of 15+ mph or over pending or adjudicated in the last 3 years No Careless / Reckless driving convictions within past 3 yearsNo Erratic or Improper lane change violations within the last 3 years. No Distraction or Handheld device violations within the past 1 year. No alcohol or drug related violations within the past 10 years.
