MRI Technologist

Role Overview This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently, and may assist with on-call, portable, and other site exams. Responsibilities Include Preparing patients and equipment for imaging procedures. Executing studies accurately and efficiently. Possibly cross-training in MRI, requiring registration as R.T. (R) or MRI registered. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree or equivalent from a trade school. No prior experience required; however, preferred qualifications include 2+ years of experience, and certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, or RCES. Licenses include IEMA (excluding MRI) and CPR certification. Must be willing to cross-train in MRI and be registered accordingly. Key Duties Perform advanced imaging modalities with a focus on quality and patient care. Participate in call rotations, including weekend coverage. Adhere to safety and procedural standards, ensuring accurate imaging results.
