Job Summary:
An ICU Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Summit, Wisconsin. The role involves providing specialized care within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a dynamic environment with a multidisciplinary team and opportunities to work with advanced equipment and technology.

Job Details:

• Position: ICU RN Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse
• Location: Summit, Wisconsin
• Shift Schedule: 0700-1900 and 1900-0700 (12-hour shifts)
• Schedule: Cycle made in 6-week increments, with every other weekend rotation and up to 7 days of approved time off (RTO)
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; 2 years ICU experience; EPIC electronic medical record experience; Wisconsin licensure or equivalent; no minimum experience required for the role.
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification
• Support within Department: Charge RN manages patient assignments; 1-2 CNA staff per shift; bedside and centralized telemetry monitoring; support from HUC during day shift; Break Buddy; RT, Hospitalists, Intensivist, and OT/PT/ST services available 24/7.
• Technology/Equipment: EPIC EMR system, IV pumps (Alaris), Pyxis medication dispensing, bedside monitors, and unit-specific equipment.
• Floating: May float within the hospital scope of practice, including MedSurg and Telemetry units or ED, with a 1:4 patient ratio when floating to MedSurg/Tele units or ED boarding.
• Orientation: 2-day orientation; Day 1 involves facility access and training, Day 2 includes 12 hours of unit training with preceptor.
• Additional Job Notes: Support staff are available 24/7, charge RN manages patient assignments, and scrubs should be professional solid colors without graphics or logos. Parking is free in designated areas.
