The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day.The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the U.S. Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world-class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged Card Members across the customer lifecycle.The Affiliate team within USCM leads a dynamic, high-impact acquisition channel, partnering with leading digital platforms including Credit Karma, NerdWallet and The Points Guy to reach high-intent prospects and drive conversion across consumer products and services.The Senior Analyst, Affiliate Marketing will play a key role in driving Affiliate channel growth and performance through strategic partnership management, performance analytics, campaign execution, and cross-functional project management.This role sits at the intersection of partnerships, digital marketing, and performance marketing, leveraging data-driven insights, testing, and strategic initiatives to drive customer acquisition and business growth.ResponsibilitiesAffiliate Partner Management: Manage day-to-day relationships with key affiliate partners through influence and negotiation, lead regular meetings, and drive alignment on strategic priorities.Performance Analytics & Forecasting: Analyze partner performance, identify growth opportunities, and develop forecasts and recommendations to support acquisition goals.Marketing Campaign Execution: Lead the execution of affiliate marketing campaigns and sponsored content to support promotional initiatives.Strategic Initiatives & Testing: Support the development and execution of marketing tests and strategic initiatives to optimize customer acquisition and channel performance.Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with analytics, product, risk, legal, compliance, and other stakeholders to align, navigate dependencies, remove obstacles, and advance partner and channel priorities.Operational Excellence: Ensure marketing initiatives comply with company policies and regulatory requirements by managing reviews, approvals, and risk mitigation activities.Qualifications2 years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, affiliate marketing, and/or partnership management.Demonstrated success building trusted internal and external relationships to influence outcomes.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and execute initiatives from concept through launch.Experience executing digital marketing campaigns, including testing, measurement, and tracking.Highly analytical, with the ability to translate performance data into insights, recommendations, and business actions.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell a compelling story using qualitative and quantitative evidence.Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity, identify risks, and drive solutions independently.Collaborative team player with a proactive, flexible, and a “roll-up your sleeves” mindset.Bachelor’s degree preferredEmployment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
