About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Payor Strategy and Relations to lead the development and management of strategic partnerships with health systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the company's payor strategy in alignment with its health system partners, serving as the primary interface for ASC-related reimbursement strategy, and providing data-driven insights to influence payor contract outcomes. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement, managed care, and payor strategy, with a focus on improving financial performance and supporting growth initiatives. The Vice President will also be involved in reimbursement analytics, financial impact evaluation, and the development of non-traditional reimbursement channels. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in healthcare reimbursement, managed care, or payor strategy, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Direct payor contracting and negotiation experience, as well as a strong financial acumen linking reimbursement to yield, margin, and case economics, are essential. The role demands the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, influence-based environment and to lead cross-functional integration to ensure reimbursement requirements are met. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree and experience with alternative payment models. The Vice President will be a key player in the company's mission to provide exceptional care and customer service, and must embody the core values of integrity, culture, teamwork, respect, and results.
