This position is on-site in Laotto, IN.Tool & Die Maker Compensation & Benefits:$26 to $38 - based on experienceDay shift hours: 7 AM to 3:30 PMComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid apprenticeship and ongoing development opportunitiesStable, long-term career with a growing precision manufacturerTool & Die Maker Required Qualifications:Minimum 4 years of experience using manual mills, lathes, and surface grindersStrong blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation skillsExperience with precision measuring equipmentExcellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityHigh school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:Tool & Die apprenticeship or formal technical trainingTechnical degree or certification in Tool & DieCNC programming and machining experienceWire EDM and sinker EDM experienceExperience building custom tooling, fixtures, molds, or diesTool & Die Maker Job Duties:Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD modelsBuild, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, molds, fixtures, jigs, and gaugesOperate manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other precision machining equipmentAssemble, fit, and adjust tooling components to exact specificationsTest completed tooling to ensure quality, accuracy, and performanceModify existing tooling to improve functionality or support engineering changesInspect finished work using precision measuring instrumentsTroubleshoot tooling issues and perform repairs as neededMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work areaThis isn't a high-volume production environment.
