SENIOR NALCOMIS/NTCSS SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

Compensation: $97,000–$115,000 annually
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Work Arrangement: On-Site

JLGOV is seeking an experienced Senior NALCOMIS/NTCSS Systems Administrator to support a U.S. Navy aviation IT environment. This position supports mission-critical NALCOMIS, NTCSS, OOMA/OIMA, server, virtual-machine, backup/recovery, cybersecurity, and technical-support functions.

Because of the Government security and system-access requirements associated with this position, applicants must be U.S. citizens and must currently hold an active DoD Secret clearance. JLGOV is unable to provide employment-based visa sponsorship for this position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active DoD Secret security clearance
• U.S. citizenship
• Hands-on NALCOMIS experience
• Experience supporting NTCSS environments
• Experience with OOMA and/or OIMA
• Senior-level systems and server administration experience
• Virtual server and VM administration experience
• Backup, restoration, and system recovery experience
• Application, database, server, connectivity, and user troubleshooting
• Cybersecurity patching and vulnerability remediation experience
• Familiarity with ACAS, IAVA, and related DoD cybersecurity requirements
• Ability to maintain technical documentation and operating procedures
• Ability to satisfy Government CAC, DISS, background-investigation, and Navy system-access requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer and maintain NALCOMIS/NTCSS systems, servers, hosted virtual machines, and associated environments
• Perform routine and emergency system startup and shutdown activities
• Execute and verify scheduled backups and support restoration and recovery activities
• Monitor system health, availability, and recurring technical issues
• Support software-baseline verification, antivirus maintenance, patching, and vulnerability remediation
• Assist with ACAS findings and IAVA/DAP requirements
• Provide remote and onsite NTCSS system-administration support
• Assist Squadron OOMA System Administrators and DBAs with deployment preparation and technical issues
• Troubleshoot application, database, server, connectivity, and user problems
• Maintain current SOPs, configuration records, and technical documentation
• Support system reliability, recoverability, security, and mission readiness
• Participate in cross-training and continuity activities to reduce single-person dependency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Recent hands-on experience with NALCOMIS, NTCSS, and OOMA/OIMA
• Prior Navy aviation maintenance IT experience
• Experience supporting distributed Navy or DoD users
• Experience with mission-critical production environments
• Experience with configuration management, restoration testing, and continuity procedures
• Experience supporting privileged-user or system-administrator functions in a classified DoD environment

SECURITY AND CITIZENSHIP

This position supports a U.S. Government environment involving classified and controlled system access. An active DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required. Candidates must be able to maintain the required clearance, favorable background investigation, CAC eligibility, DISS profile, and Navy system-access requirements throughout employment. JLGOV does not provide employment-based visa sponsorship for this position.
