Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver intensive counseling and psychotherapy services, utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's needs.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including complete mental status examinations, to identify client strengths, concerns, and treatment needs.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Utilize crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate high-stress situations, guiding clients towards coping solutions and emotional stability.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, medical providers, and case managers, ensuring integrated and coordinated care for clients.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, adapting approaches based on group dynamics and specific therapeutic goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work primarily with adults and families facing complex mental health issues, often in high-stress environments such as hospice care. This role requires a high level of empathy, as clients may be dealing with grief, anxiety, depression, and other significant emotional concerns associated with end-of-life scenarios. Your expertise will help guide them through these challenges and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current New Jersey LCSW license, with the capability to practice autonomously.
