Accounts Payable SpecialistThe Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for the functions necessary to support carrier, trade, and other payments for eShipping, LLC. The main responsibility will be assisting in daily/weekly batches utilizing multiple payment methods (electronic and check) to ensure our partner carriers and other vendors are paid within established time limits.Duties include but are not limited to the following:Preparing reports that are used to link invoices ready for payment from the Transportation Management Systems to General Ledger accounting systemReviewing and reconciling vendor aging reportsProviding vendors with payment status updatesReview, audit, and arrange payments for International and Domestic servicesUpdating Operating system with payment information and marking all paid invoices as "Complete" in sub-systemProcess contra account billing and paymentsReconciling assorted G/L accounts to sub-ledger detail at month-endMaintaining filing system in accordance with IRS and customer requirementsOther administrative duties as requiredTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
