About the Role


Step into a dynamic role where you will be instrumental in developing and delivering digital messaging platform capabilities. You will be a key player in understanding cross-enterprise messaging needs, prioritizing them, and crafting a comprehensive messaging strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to execute the delivery of messaging that aligns with the overall vision and roadmap for digital communication, continually evolving how the firm connects with its clients and measures success. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of product owners, contributing to a culture of innovation and client-centric design.


What You'll Do

• Envision the future and build the near-term roadmap for the digital messaging channel and its adoption.
• Support all aspects required to bring new multi-channel digital messages to clients, including gathering requirements, creation, development, and implementation of solutions.
• Define and prioritize the product backlog to deliver on business vision and priorities, ensuring clarity for the development team.
• Ensure customer-driven design, addressing user pain points, market needs, and incorporating usability test results.
• Execute the development process with technical teams, internal partners, and external vendors, from writing business requirements and user stories to conducting user acceptance testing and communicating project status.
• Resolve problems and collaborate with peers, technical teams, and internal clients to provide timely solutions.
• Support sprint and release plans in collaboration with the Scrum Master and participate in retrospectives to continuously improve team processes.
• Champion Agile methodologies, actively participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog prioritization, user story preparation, and demos.
• Work cross-functionally with technical, product, design, business, and compliance counterparts to define product release requirements and investigate production issues.
• Create awareness and engagement plans for your capabilities, providing relevant and concise updates to management teams.
• Serve as a subject matter authority and evangelist for your channel/utility to partners across the organization.
• Think "horizontally" to deliver an exceptional and consistent experience for clients across all digital channels.

What You'll Bring


Must-Have Qualifications:

• 4+ years of digital product owner experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Data Analytics experience with a strong ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strategic problem-solver capable of formulating compelling vision and strategy, then translating it into measurable roadmaps and results.
• Strong knowledge base and experience developing or leading digital platforms, coupled with an understanding of underlying current and emerging technology.
• Ability to influence and build strong relationships across multiple levels of the organization.
• Highly developed communication and presentation skills, with a superior ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and issues to leadership teams.
• Understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Skilled at working cross-functionally with technology, service, marketing, and product teams to lead the entire lifecycle of a digital platform.
• Curiosity, a can-do attitude, and the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a complex, dynamic environment.
• Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to track multiple project deliverables with minimal direction.
• Confidence in communicating and tailoring messaging to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership.
• Ability to identify and manage risk, such as performance risk, and create effective mitigation plans and risk controls.
• A leader with vision who naturally challenges the status quo.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Prior experience as an Agile Product Owner or leading scrum teams, with a deep understanding of agile methodologies.
• Good understanding and/or experience with financial services regulations.
• MBA preferred.
