Director of Sales and Marketing

We are seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing to oversee all sales and marketing efforts for our prestigious luxury wedding and event venue. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and experienced leader with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. They will be responsible for building and executing strategic sales and marketing plans, leading a team of sales consultants, and ensuring the continued success and reputation of our full-service catering and event venue. Responsibilities Sales Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability. Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through initiative-taking prospecting, networking, and lead generation. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients. Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions and exceeding expectations. Track sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and prepare regular reports to monitor progress against sales targets and identify areas for improvement. Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and best practices in wedding sales and hospitality to maintain a competitive edge in the market. Understand food and beverage costs to ensure profitability and optimize pricing strategies. Collaboration & Team Support Recruit, hire, and train a high-performing sales team. Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance reviews to develop team members. Marketing and Branding: Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive customer acquisition. Manage the development of marketing materials, including brochures, website content, and social media posts. Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant area 7+ years' managing teams Proven record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and marketing automation tools.
