We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool for a 13-week contract position in Fort Defiance, Arizona. This role provides nursing care across the Emergency Department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Adult Medical-Surgical, and Pediatric Medical-Surgical units based on daily staffing and patient care needs.

The RN will report to the House Supervisor for daily assignments and must be comfortable transitioning between multiple clinical environments while providing safe, evidence-based patient care.

• Provide direct nursing care across the Emergency Department, ICU, Adult Medical-Surgical, and Pediatric Medical-Surgical units.

• Assess and monitor patients, recognize changes in clinical condition, and implement individualized nursing plans of care.

• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and moderate sedation in accordance with clinical protocols and physician orders.

• Collaborate with physicians, House Supervisors, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in RPMS and float to assigned departments based on staffing and patient care needs.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Required.

• Minimum 3 Years of Recent Experience Across Emergency Department, ICU, Adult Medical-Surgical, and Pediatric Medical-Surgical Required.

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC Certifications Required.

• Moderate Sedation Certification Required or Must Be Willing to Obtain Through the Facility After Confirmation.

• Must Be Flexible to Work 8-Hour or 12-Hour Day/Night Shifts, Weekends, Holidays, and Float Between Multiple Departments.

The Float Pool Registered Nurse will provide adaptable, high-quality nursing care across emergency, critical care, adult, and pediatric inpatient settings.
