Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit.

Manage and operate all unit-specific equipment including vents, feeding pumps, IV pumps, and wound vacs.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Monitor and report changes in patient conditions and adapt care plans accordingly.

Perform and assist with procedures such as chest tube placement and bronchial management at bedside.

Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Meditech/CPN systems.

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of Colorado.

Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital Progressive Care Unit experience.

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Experience managing chest tubes, trauma patients, tracheostomies, and suction equipment.

Familiarity with NIH Stroke Scale.

Prior experience with Meditech electronic medical records preferred.
