Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team in Conway. This role supports financial operations, job costing, billing, reconciliations, payroll, and accounting functions while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and job cost coding
- Prepare and manage AIA billing (G702/G703 forms) and construction progress billings
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Manage inventory transactions and job costing
- Prepare customer invoicing, warranties, and project closeout documentation
- Assist with payroll and general accounting duties
- Support financial reporting and accounting activities
Qualifications:
- Accounting, Finance, or Construction Accounting experience
- Experience with AIA billing, job costing, and construction accounting preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
