We are seeking a nurturing and experienced Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants in a licensed infant center and a deep understanding of the unique needs of babies ages 6 weeks to 12 months. This individual should be warm, attentive, and passionate about creating a safe and loving environment that supports early development and bonding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, responsive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor development, and early communication.
- Establish consistent routines that support sleep, feeding, and play schedules.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment in accordance with licensing standards and health regulations.
- Monitor and document developmental milestones and share updates with parents through daily communication.
- Build trusting, supportive relationships with families and collaborate with team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Follow all center policies, safety protocols, and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with infants in a licensed child care center or similar setting.
- Associate’s in Early Childhood Education, CDA Infants, or a related field experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of infant development, safe sleep practices, and responsive caregiving techniques.
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Reliable, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoys caring for babies in a structured setting.
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.
Work Hours:
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 am-5:00 pm
- 9:00 am -6:00 pm Closing
- Occasional evening or weekend hours for special events, staff meeting or trainings.
