Kitchen Manager

Lunds & Byerlys St. Louis Park is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing full-time Kitchen Manager to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a full-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $24.50-29.13/hr.

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pmFor this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 6:00am-7:00pm.

KITCHEN MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Kitchen Managers are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:

• Providing hospitable, courteous, and efficient service to customers
• Developing daily and weekly menus
• Assisting in leading, supervising, coaching, mentoring, and training employees
• Evaluating and ensuring product quality and selection
• Maintaining cleanliness of the department

MINMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education:
   1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Experience:
   1. Minimum of two (2) years' experience in deli or food service leadership
   2. Previous management experience desired
3. Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
   1. Knowledge of financial reporting systems and concepts
   2. Strong understanding of food preparation and food service operations
   3. Strong understanding of retail operations
   4. Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
   5. Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification
