POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Information Technology Engineer at The Skyline Group designs and implements Information Systems infrastructure to support all core organizational areas throughout the entire lifecycle. This position plays an active role in the programming of spaces within a building with the architect and end users. The Senior IT Engineer will provide written documentation for design implementation, travel to customers work sites, provide work progress reports from the beginning of design through the end of construction projects, provided coordination for design details and project progress.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary job responsibilities include:

• Design and implement Corporate IT, AV and security Infrastructure for Commercial Buildings.

• Plan and design automated processes and workflows to streamline and simplify IT design tasks.

• Coordinate design details with all other construction disciplines involved with a project.

• Manage the flow of deliverables with in house personnel as well as clients and other disciplines.

REQUIREMENTS

• B.S. (or higher-level degree) in Computer Science or a similar engineering program with strong academic performance preferred.

• BICSI RCDD certification.

• 5+ years of experience as a Technology Engineer in medium to large design firm.

• Advanced Technical Writing and excellent communication skills.

• Well-versed in MS Office365 and/or Exchange 2013

• Work comfortably with MS Visio

• Have excellent knowledge of building drawings and ability to coordinate with AutoCAD operators.
