CT Technologist – Travel Assignment

Location: Eagle Butte, SD
Pay: $3,200 per week
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week + rotating weekends and call

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Eagle Butte, South Dakota . The ideal candidate will provide high-quality CT and X-ray imaging in both routine and emergent situations while maintaining a strong focus on patient care, safety, and image quality.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technologist looking for a short-term contract with competitive weekly compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency CT and X-ray examinations .
• Properly position patients and adjust technical factors to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Perform exams according to established radiologist protocols.
• Process and send images through PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Accurately document and charge for completed exams in the EMR .
• Assist with contrast administration for CT examinations as required.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and maintain patient safety throughout each exam.
• Participate in equipment quality-control procedures.
• Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff.
• Provide compassionate, efficient patient care while maintaining a professional clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification required.
• Active state license required.
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience preferred .
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, radiation physics, anatomy, and physiology.
• Experience with PACS and EMR systems preferred .
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
• Must be available for rotating weekends, call, and holiday coverage .
