Duration: 31 Weeks
Shift: Day | Monday–Thursday
Schedule: 4 Days/Week | 40 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $24–$26/hr

Job Description:
Medical Assistant will support front-office and back-office clinical operations in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include patient rooming, vital signs, phlebotomy, venipuncture, EKGs, POC testing, scheduling, EMR documentation, and patient support.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and room patients.

• Take and document vital signs.

• Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture.

• Perform EKGs and POC testing.

• Administer vaccines within scope of practice.

• Schedule appointments and assist with clinic coordination.

• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.

• Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries.

• Support health education and outreach.

• Follow patient safety and infection-control procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience , excluding externship.

• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred.

• Phlebotomy/Venipuncture experience required.

• EMR experience required.

• Front-office and back-office experience.

• Strong computer and communication skills.

• BLS or CPR required.

• Experience with EKG, POC testing, scheduling, patient rooming, and vitals.
