A Sales Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Outside Sales Representative is required to join a growing industrial engineering company specializing in compressed air industrial equipment aftermarket services and technical solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious technical salesperson to take ownership of a high-potential territory with considerable room for growth. The territory already generates approximately $200000 in revenue but the focus will be heavily weighted towards new business giving the successful Sales Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Outside Sales Representative the opportunity to build their own customer base and directly benefit from the growth they generate. The successful Sales Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Outside Sales Representative will ideally have experience selling compressed air systems pumps vacuum equipment fluid power automation HVAC industrial equipment or other electrical and mechanical solutions into manufacturing environments. Sales Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Outside Sales Representative Role
- Take ownership of an established Northeast Mississippi territory with significant potential for further growth.
- Develop new industrial and manufacturing accounts while expanding relationships with existing customers.
- Drive sales of compressed air equipment industrial solutions aftermarket products and services.
- Develop business across industrial manufacturing food production poultry processing and related process industries.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and initial technical discussions through proposals negotiation and closing.
- Develop long-term relationships with plant managers engineers maintenance teams operations professionals and key industrial decision-makers.
- Identify opportunities for capital equipment alongside recurring aftermarket and service revenue.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with a significant emphasis on new customer acquisition.
- Work autonomously across the territory while attending regular company meetings in Memphis.
Sales Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Outside Sales Representative Requirements
- Proven B2B industrial outside sales experience.
- Technical sales experience within an industrial equipment or engineered solutions environment.
- Industrial CAPEX / process equipment sales experience.
- Proven ability to develop business within manufacturing environments.
- Experience with air compressors or compressed air systems would be highly advantageous.
- Candidates with pumps vacuum fluid power industrial equipment automation HVAC or electrical/mechanical systems experience will also be considered.
- Strong new business development skills with the drive to grow an underdeveloped territory.
- Comfortable managing customer relationships and sales opportunities independently.
- Ideally based in North Mississippi with the ability to attend weekly meetings in Memphis.
