Environmental Services Operations Manager Requisition #: 652221 Location: Nashville, TN, US, 37232 Job Description Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking an Environmental Services Operations Manager to join our team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. This manager will develop and execute facility solutions to ensure all health and safety standards are met, and will service and maintain the site to client specifications. They will lead operations of facility accounts, meeting objectives and client expectations. Job Responsibilities Overall ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of the unit. Coach employees to achieve shared objectives and recognize performance. Identify and engage top talent and develop team members to their fullest potential. Plan and lead team management meetings. Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations. Establish and maintain effective client and customer rapport. Identify client needs and communicate operational progress. Deliver and model WEST as the foundation for excellent customer service. Facilitate and support new business and retention activities. Develop programs (facilities, custodial, energy, grounds or maintenance) to meet client demands and specifications. Build revenue and manage budget, including cost controls with respect to labor, supply, and inventory. Ensure completion and maintenance of financial statements relative to the department. Oversee and deliver client and company financial targets. Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, eliminating custom/manual reports. Understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins. Implement and maintain GM agenda for labor and total quality management requirements. Create value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management. Ensure consistent application of Aramark’s operating standards and processes, focusing on efficiencies in sustainability efforts to reduce energy consumption and labor productivity standards. Qualifications Requires at least 3 years of experience in healthcare environmental services. Up to 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role preferred. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Models key leadership behaviors and ensures the highest levels of safety, quality and service excellence for employees, clients and consumers.
