Studio Manager – Membership Sales & Operations Boutique Fitness | Monroe, NY Salary: $70,000–$75,000 Employment: Full-Time | On-Site The Opportunity Good Soul Hunting is partnering with a growing boutique fitness business to recruit a commercially driven, people-focused Studio Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager who thrives on driving sales, building meaningful client relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences. We're looking for a confident, energetic and proactive leader who can take ownership of membership growth, client retention, team leadership and day-to-day studio operations. Importantly, we're open to candidates from boutique fitness, premium retail, hospitality, wellness and other customer-focused businesses who bring strong commercial experience and a genuine interest in health and fitness. Key Responsibilities: Membership Sales & Business Growth Drive membership sales, lead conversion and overall business growth. Deliver engaging introductory experiences and studio tours, confidently converting prospective clients into members. Proactively manage sales leads, follow-ups, referrals and community outreach. Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates. Client Experience & Retention Build strong, lasting relationships with members and deliver exceptional personalized service. Proactively manage member engagement, satisfaction and retention. Handle client concerns, membership cancellations and retention conversations professionally and confidently. Create a welcoming, high-quality environment where every member feels valued. Team Leadership & Studio Operations Oversee daily studio operations, ensuring consistently high standards of service and presentation. Lead and support instructors and front-desk team members. Coordinate staffing, scheduling and day-to-day operational requirements. Monitor class attendance, occupancy and overall studio performance. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and the member experience. Commercial Performance & Accountability Track key performance indicators, including membership growth, sales conversions, retention and attendance. Provide regular performance updates and recommendations to business ownership. Take ownership of studio performance, demonstrating initiative, accountability and a commercially focused mindset. About You We're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate: Proven experience in sales, business development or customer-focused management. Strong commercial awareness and confidence converting prospective customers into paying clients. Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills. Experience leading teams and managing daily business operations. The ability to engage professionally with a discerning, high-expectation clientele. A proactive, organized and solutions-focused approach. Genuine enthusiasm for health, fitness and wellness. You don't need to currently work in the fitness industry. We're equally interested in talented managers from premium retail, hospitality and other service-led environments who are looking to bring their experience into boutique fitness. Compensation & Working Arrangements Base salary: $70,000–$75,000 per annum. Location: On-site, New York State. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, approximately 8:30am–5:30pm; Friday, 8:30am–2:30pm; plus approximately one hour on Sunday for introductory sessions. TBC.
