Your contributions will enhance both community wellness and our practice's reach.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories and performing specific physical assessments to determine effective treatment plans.Clearly communicate evaluation findings and tailored treatment plans to both patients and their families, involving them in goal-setting to foster active engagement in their recovery.Implement personalized treatment protocols based on evaluation outcomes while adapting to the evolving healthcare landscape, ensuring each patient's unique needs are met.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, providing documentation of any changes in patient conditions to modify care plans as necessary.Manage discharge planning effectively and maintain precise documentation encompassing evaluations, plans of care, interim progress notes, and discharge summaries.Demonstrate excellent time management skills, ensuring productivity expectations are consistently met while creating accurate schedules for patient care.Participate actively in community outreach and departmental objectives, adhering to industry regulations and contributing to departmental growth.Pursue professional development through continuing education opportunities while mentoring and providing clinical instruction to students in the field.Deliver an exceptional customer experience while addressing barriers to access care, understanding key metrics to drive improvement in service delivery.Patient Population / Client FocusAs an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient demographic, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your role will be integral to improving their mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing their overall quality of life through dedicated care tailored to their rehabilitation goals.QualificationsDoctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.Current state licensure to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Florida.Minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.Current CPR certificate to ensure the safety and wellness of patients.Preferred ExperienceWhile two years of experience is required, additional certifications or specialized experience in manual therapy techniques, sports rehabilitation, or advanced orthopedic protocols will be highly regarded. Candidates who show a keen interest in ongoing learning and adaptation to innovative treatment methodologies will fit seamlessly into our practice.Compensation and BenefitsThe annual salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
