Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity focuses on providing itinerant special education services to preschoolers in the Hanover area and select areas of Adams County, with a home base at a central location for support and collaboration. Key Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education (must be submitted with your resume)
• Previous experience teaching in a preschool or early childhood special education setting preferred
• Ability to efficiently manage a mobile workday and adapt to multiple site environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with families, educators, and related services staff
• Reliable transportation is required for daily travel between locations

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct specialized instruction to preschool students in accordance with their IEPs across various schools and community settings
• Complete and maintain appropriate documentation, progress reports, and communication logs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and support personnel to implement individualized strategies and support plans
• Engage in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing professional development
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning experience for all students
