Job Description Summary Join a dynamic, industry-leading team dedicated to keeping our customers safe, secure, and accessible! As a Fence Installer , you’ll play a crucial hands‑on role in site setup, utilizing power and hand tools to install and remove temporary fencing according to job specifications. As a key representative of Sunbelt Rentals in the field, your focus on safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service will drive our success—even under tight deadlines. This is a physically active, outdoor role where no two days are the same. Complete training will be provided to set you up for success! What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities) Field Installation: Safely set up, maintain, and dismantle temporary fencing and accessories at customer sites. Operational Accuracy: Accurately complete essential job paperwork (JHAs, site checklists, truck inventory logs). Team Leadership & Navigation: Partner with Lead Fence Technicians and Operations Managers to navigate safely and efficiently to job sites. Safety & Standards: Maintain a clean, hazard-free workplace and company vehicle while consistently upholding safety protocols. Professional Representation: Represent the company with a professional appearance, positive attitude, and customer-first mindset. What You’ll Bring (Qualifications & Experience) Physical Stamina: Comfortable performing heavy outdoor labor in various weather conditions and physically handling panels weighing 50-80 lbs. Tool & Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with basic hand and power tools (drills, power washers, post drivers, banding equipment). Work Ethic & Drive: Strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the motivation to get the job done right. Reliable Transportation: Dependable personal transportation to reach job sites daily. Bonus Qualifications (A Huge Plus!): Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record capable of passing a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) check (not required, but strongly preferred!). Experience operating a forklift or one-ton truck. Base Pay Range: $21.84 - 31.39 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
