Job Title Recruiter – Regional Supervisor Director of Recruitment Job Summary The Recruiter –Regional is responsible for sourcing, recruiting and placing U.S. domestic clinical permanent staff for HCA and non-HCA facilities across the assigned division. The recruiter builds a pool of passive and active candidates for HCA facilities through referrals from the sourcing team and other recruitment sources identified. Recruitment of candidates is conducted efficiently, timely, productively and cost‑effectively in coordination with the Directors of Recruitment and On‑Site and the On‑Site Recruiters. The recruiter provides prospective candidates with information concerning position requirements, client hospital attributes and community offerings. Responsibilities Prepare recruitment strategy in conjunction with Director of Recruitment and Director On‑Site. Effectively utilize existing recruitment resources and develop new sources and contacts. Manage the recruitment and placement process for permanent openings, including: identifying and screening candidates to match position requirements, submitting candidates to hiring managers, arranging interviews, and following up for feedback. Utilize effective interviewing techniques to assess clinical and behavioral fit. Sell candidates the merits of employment with HCA/HealthTrust using creativity, communication and sales skills. Negotiate salary, close deals, and verify start dates. Provide ongoing status updates on open job orders to facilities. Maintain communication with applicants to keep them active in the HealthTrust System. Maintain and enter applicant information in the applicant tracking system. Refer candidates to other positions or divisions as appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proven track record of success in sales/production recruiting. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to multi‑task and handle multiple priorities. High proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Maintains working area and equipment according to environmental and safety regulations. Education High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; 2‑year Associate Degree preferred. Experience 1–3 years of sales/production recruitment experience required, preferably with a healthcare staffing company. Certificate/License None. Physical Demands / Working Conditions Exert up to 20 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs frequently. Requires prolonged sitting, some walking, standing, repetitive tasks, motions, and stretching. Requires clear vision, eye‑hand‑foot coordination, and manual dexterity to operate keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment. Requires perception of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction; ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make distinctions in sound. Requires normal eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Requires dexterity to type.
