Shift: M-F, 7:30 AM 4:30 PM (rotating weekends possible)

Hours/Week: 40 hours

Employment Type: Contract

Licenses/Certifications: Valid Nurse Practitioner license (U.S.) required

Experience: Prior surgical experience preferred but not mandatory

Pay & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $1.00/hour

What You'll Do

• Assist in surgical procedures primarily in general surgery; support orthopedics, Ob/Gyn, urology, and ENT cases as needed
• Collaborate with surgeons, scrub techs, circulating RNs, and CRNAs during surgeries
• Provide perioperative patient assessments and support
• Assist in maintaining surgical records and documentation
• Support patient care before and after procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety and clinical protocols

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the U.S.
• Experience in surgical or acute care settings is preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Preferred:

• Prior experience in general surgery or related specialties
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced surgical environment

About the Assignment Join a leading healthcare facility in Decatur, GA, providing support in the surgery department for a short-term contract. The team performs approximately 90-110 scheduled, non-urgent cases weekly. The role involves assisting in various surgical specialties, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care.
