Essential Responsibilities: Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines. Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging as necessary, while offering reassurance, clear instructions, and education to patients. Ensure smooth healthcare service delivery throughout patient visits by accurately completing and updating medical records. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints. Monitor and report abnormal symptoms to physicians, documenting findings thoroughly. Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings under supervision. Manage sample medications and logs, coordinate patient testing and admissions, and facilitate referrals as needed. Distribute educational materials and ensure patient understanding of treatment plans and medication usage. Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, ensuring cleanliness, sterilizing instruments, and verifying equipment functionality. Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations. Education and Experience Required: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.
