Quality Inspector

Wage: $22.00-$25.00 hourly NPX is looking for a Quality Inspecto r to join our team! In this hands‑on role, you’ll help ensure the quality and reliability of medical device components by performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections throughout the manufacturing process. You’ll work with a variety of inspection and measurement tools, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and support quality investigations and continuous improvement efforts. QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: Minimum 6 months in medical device manufacturing – Ideally, 1+ year of experience. Skills Ability to read and interpret sampling and inspection plans Good organizational and communication Basic mathematics Detail oriented and organized General computer operations (e.g. Excel, Word) RESPONSIBILITIES Support and perform inspection and testing of materials and products from incoming material through final assembly, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards Conduct visual, dimensional, and/or functional inspections of raw materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products in accordance with approved specifications and applicable quality standards Perform duties with minimal to moderate supervision Utilize measurement tools and equipment (e.g., pin gages, calipers, MicroVu, laser micrometers, pull testers) to verify physical dimensions and product attributes Verify that all measurement equipment is within current calibration status Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials Complete quality records, reports, and documentation in accordance with GDP (Good Documentation Practices) Apply and follow established sampling plans Participate in problem‑solving activities and contribute to process and product evaluations for continuous improvement Provide data, analysis, and support to cross‑functional teams as needed Support site objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory Achieve assigned goals and performance objectives Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan with Company Match Paid Time Off, Personal Days, AND Birthday Holiday!
