Foreclosure Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Foreclosure Attorney in Frederick, MD. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in foreclosures, evictions, or title proceedings, with a strong desire to excel in these areas. Experience in creditor-side bankruptcy and litigation is advantageous. Duties Oversee and manage high-volume statewide foreclosure matters. Ensure timely actions to expedite case files. Act as a liaison with clients, vendors, and legal personnel. Manage files according to foreclosure rules and timelines. Utilize case management systems for reporting and updates. Review and execute pleadings and correspondence. Prepare and present legal documents and arguments. Attend hearings, conferences, mediations, or trials. Conduct public auctions as needed. Review title searches for issues and proper party identification. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the State Bar. Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, real estate, or related legal matters. Experience in real estate, mortgage, or commercial litigation preferred. Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, and relevant laws is a plus. Willingness to learn foreclosure and real estate law if inexperienced. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Ability to travel as needed. Detail-oriented with strong task management skills. Proficiency in legal research, writing, and document drafting. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.
