Join a pioneering initiative to create the Industrial Technical Visual Reasoning Benchmark, an evaluation dataset designed to assess how effectively AI models can interpret authentic engineering visuals. This role invites Civil Engineering and Architecture professionals to contribute by developing benchmark problems that challenge AI reasoning capabilities.
As a Civil Engineering Expert, you will:
- Source genuine professional artifacts such as floorplans, blueprints, site plans, and structural drawings.
- Craft complex problems that require more than just textual analysis to solve.
- Determine clear and concise final answers for each problem.
- Provide detailed, step-by-step worked solutions at a professional level.
- Tag each problem with relevant information, including its domain, artifact type, skill tested, and difficulty level.
- Collaborate with another domain expert for independent review of each problem before finalization.
This part-time, remote engagement is ideal for practicing professionals with hands-on experience in civil engineering and architecture. The focus is on real-world applications, emphasizing structural, spatial, and multi-step reasoning rather than simplified textbook scenarios.
