Activities Coordinator Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glen Burnie, a premier nursing and rehabilitative care facility in Glen Burnie, Maryland. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating engaging and meaningful experiences for our residents, enhancing their physical, emotional, and social well‑being. Responsibilities: Plan, develop, and implement recreational programs and activities to promote resident engagement, socialization, and cognitive stimulation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify resident needs and preferences, and develop activities that cater to their interests. Develop and maintain relationships with community resources, vendors, and volunteers to enhance programming and services. Manage and coordinate logistics for events, outings, and special activities. Maintain accurate records of resident participation, activities, and assessments. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreation therapy, gerontology, or a related field preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
