What You’ll Bring:

• Valid Illinois School Social Worker (SSW) license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Previous experience serving as a social worker in a school setting
• A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive school climate
• Strong communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills
• The ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional support to elementary-age students, individually and in groups
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student well-being and success
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
• Assist in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and classroom management strategies
• Facilitate connections between families and community resources
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with school and district policies

This full-time role follows an onsite schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:35 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring you’re engaged in every part of the school day. You’ll become a valuable resource for students requiring extra support, and your expertise will help inspire growth and positive change.
