3rd Shift Maintenance Lead (Bilingual Spanish)

We are seeking a proactive and skilled 3rd Shift Maintenance Lead to direct and execute maintenance operations at our Vernon, CA facility. This role requires proven hands-on technical ability combined with strong leadership skills to maintain maximum operational efficiency and strict compliance with food safety standards. The ideal candidate must possess prior experience in a food manufacturing environment.

salary: $83,000 - $91,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and work orders using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as UpKeep or SAP.
• Assist in equipment upgrades , installations, and continuous improvement projects.
• The work schedule is typically 3rd shift (9:00 PM to 5:30 AM or 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM) and may consist of both weekday and weekend work, with overtime requirements contingent on business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Mandatory experience in a food manufacturing environment .
• Minimum 3 years of electro-mechanical technician (EMT) experience.
• Proven  leadership and team coordination experience in an industrial environment.
• bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must, as communication and troubleshooting with operators will be required in Spanish
• Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience leading lean manufacturing improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs.
