We are seeking an experienced and dependable Saute Chef to join our Italian restaurant kitchen team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of professional cooking experience , with strong experience in Italian cuisine and sauté station operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality Italian dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Manage the sauté station efficiently during busy service periods.
• Prepare pasta sauces, proteins, vegetables, risottos, and other sautéed dishes.
• Maintain proper portioning, seasoning, presentation, and consistency.
• Set up and maintain the sauté station before, during, and after service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
• Monitor food quality and freshness and minimize waste.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked workstation.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional restaurant kitchen experience.
• Previous experience in an Italian restaurant is required.
• Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, sauces, pasta, and proteins.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume kitchen.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Must be reliable, professional, and able to work well under pressure.
