RN Infusion

Scope of Work The role utilizes the ANA scope of practice and operates within the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient‑family center care principles. Under the direct supervision of the Nursing Leader and in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, the nurse uses clinical judgment to assess, monitor, detect, plan, and implement the treatment plan for patients. The nurse also takes appropriate action to prevent physiological complications associated with specific health problems and/or medical treatment. Responsibilities Assess, monitor, and detect patient conditions. Plan and implement nursing interventions to prevent complications. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to manage patient care. Utilize clinical judgment to adapt treatment plans as needed. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ACEN‑accredited diploma program) or higher. BSN, MSN, DNP, or PhD – if not a BSN graduate, a new graduate with less than one year of experience must sign an educational contract to complete a BSN within a specified timeframe. RN license required; must enroll in an accredited BSN program within one year of licensure and complete within five years. One year of relevant acute care, emergency, or intensive care nursing experience. Preferred Qualifications State‑licensed Registered Nurse (RN) – Michigan. Valid driver’s license – Michigan. Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Chemotherapy Biotherapy certification – ONCC (adult infusion) or ONS with one year of infusion experience. Shift: Day (United States of America). Weekly Scheduled Hours: 40. Standard Workdays: Monday to Friday. Weekend Frequency: Variable weekends.
