Farm Equipment Technician

Job Description

The Farm & Outdoor Power Equipment Technician plays a vital role within the maintenance team, specializing in the repair and upkeep of tractors and lawn mowing equipment. Working primarily from an indoor workshop, this role focuses on ensuring all farm machinery operates efficiently through expert diagnostics and precise parts replacement.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in farm equipment
Perform parts replacement and routine maintenance
Conduct diagnostic testing to identify equipment faults
Collaborate with maintenance team members to ensure timely repairs
Maintain organized records of repairs and part usage

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years experience in farm equipment maintenance
Valid driver's license
Strong skills in mechanical repair, hydraulic and electrical systems
Proficient with diagnostic tools and welding techniques
Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills to coordinate within the team
