This contract role offers the chance to work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, including paraeducators, BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, and school psychology/social work staff. You will engage with a classroom of 10 students at the middle school level, contributing both your expertise and your compassionate approach to student development and learning.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active or in-process Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license is required; candidates must provide documentation with their application.
• At least one year of classroom experience, ideally within a special education setting.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• Ability to work closely with teams, including peer mentors and full-time paraeducators.
• Strong adaptability, collaborative spirit, and commitment to student-centered support.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies under the direction of special education and clinical leadership.
• Deliver direct instruction and support to students, promoting academic and social-emotional growth.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure consistent and effective interventions.
• Collect data and communicate observations to support student progress.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as required.
