Base pay range $245,000.00/yr - $275,000.00/yr AI Engineering Team Lead Hybrid Our client, a Series A startup in the therapeutic development space, is building the AI workbench for the entire drug development lifecycle. Their platform streamlines regulatory workflows end-to-end by intelligently and creatively infusing every step with AI, helping bring new treatments to patients faster and more safely. They’re looking for an AI Engineering Manager to manage and scale a growing team of AI Engineers. This person will drive architectural direction and roadmap execution while staying hands‑on and deeply technical. What you’ll do: Lead and grow a team of 3+ AI Engineers Set and maintain high engineering and quality standards Oversee AI architecture and long‑term technical initiatives Hire, mentor, and develop engineers Partner cross‑functionally with Product and Leadership Stay hands‑on through code reviews, bug fixes, and technical discussions Ideal background: Early‑stage startup experience ( Strong background building production software with LLMs in the loop Track record designing and implementing scalable AI systems Experience managing and mentoring technical teams Data‑first mindset; experience in regulated domains is a plus $245k-275k + Equity Research indicates that men will apply to a role when they only meet 50-60% of the descriptions, however, when looking at women and other minority groups, they can look for up to a 99% match in order to apply to a role.
