Job Opportunity – Inpatient Pharmacist – Hood River, OR 97031

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Hood River, Oregon

Schedule: Block scheduling with day shifts (07:00 - 17:00) and night shifts (22:00 - 08:00), 4x10-hour shifts. Weekend coverage required with shifts from 07:30 - 17:00. On-call availability needed for overnight patient care. Patient ratio of 1 pharmacist to 25 patients.

• Critical Access Hospital with Level III Trauma Center designation serving 25 staffed beds
• Epic charting system with average daily census of 20 patients
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Diverse patient care across Med Surg, Labor and Delivery, Outpatient Infusion, and Emergency Department
• Reduced orientation hours for this assignment
• Serve adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations

Requirements:

• Active Oregon Pharmacist License (may submit with license pending)
• Chemotherapy and hazardous drug certification required
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience
• Inpatient or acute care pharmacy experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Experience with Pyxis and home health infusion systems
• Outpatient infusion experience required
• Must have reliable vehicle for this assignment
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
