CNC Operator (1st Shift)
Location: Long Beach, CA (On-site)
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
Pay: $19–$30/hr DOE
Industry: Aerospace Manufacturing

Job Summary
Operate CNC milling centers to support aerospace production while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Run 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills; monitor cycles for continuous operation
Load/unload materials and finished parts; maintain production flow
Verify setup accuracy using travelers/work instructions
Measure parts and tool assemblies using calipers/micrometers ; replace tools as needed
Perform basic inspections, deburr/edge break, and support AS9100 quality requirements
Move materials/workholding using forklift and overhead crane (as needed)
Maintain 6S/clean work area; log production in ERP
Support basic machine upkeep (coolant, filters, chip bins) and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Entry-level to junior CNC experience preferred
Aerospace manufacturing exposure a plus
Comfortable reading travelers/work instructions and using hand measuring tools
Forklift/overhead crane experience preferred (or willing to train)
Detail-oriented and team-focused

Physical Requirements

Stand for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs
Comfortable in a manufacturing environment
