M1 Support Services, LP 1500 Solana Blvd Suite 5200 Westlake, TX 76262 m1services.com Aircraft Worker Location San Diego, CA Job Posting 114313 Start Date 08/31/2026 Contract CFT HSM -41 North Island Salary Range $37.06/Hour Posting Date .07/29/2026 Union Yes FLSA Status Non-Exempt Shift Work Possible FT/PT Full-time Relocation No Travel Possible Job Summary The Aircraft Worker is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on aircraft, including troubleshooting malfunctions in various systems such as the structure, landing gear, engines, auxiliary power units, and ventilation. The role involves the daily operation of the flight line, wash rack, hangar, and other areas requiring customer and contract support. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Assist in pre-flight, post-flight, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems. Remove, clean, replace defective parts, accessories, and components such as gaskets, actuators, accumulators, gauges and fuel lines. Perform pre-flight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections. Make adjustments to cables, seats, and other components. Inspect and repair or replace malfunctioning or damaged parts, including engine components. Keep maintenance records for all work performed, ensuring proper documentation of repairs and services. Supervise and assist with aircraft jacking, towing, and wash activities. Participate in safety programs and comply with all safety protocols. Handle and dispose of hazardous materials (HAZMAT). Maintain clean and safe work areas, participate in the FOD program. Comply with all M1 and US Navy instructions and safety requirements. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance performed in OOMA or similar to OOMA systems ensuring compliance with 4790 and safety standards. Qualifications and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year of experience with H60 aircraft (civilian or military). Prior experience with military aircraft preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain Plane Captain Designation and associated certifications. Proficiency with computer programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and NALCOMIS/OOMA. Experience working in diverse, multicultural teams. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain a favorable background check. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government Common Access Card (CAC). Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS), for temporary use only while waiting for a CAC. Required to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated Tier-3 Background Investigation (Non-Critical Sensitive /IT-II). Current valid U.S. Driver's License. Physical & Medical Requirements: Must meet physical requirements and pass a medical examination. Working Conditions: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Computer usage for documentation using codes and clear written and verbal English language required. Constant use of eyesight abilities while reviewing documents, walking around work areas and constant use of English language speech/hearing abilities for communication. Prolonged sitting and computer usage for documentation. Constant mental alertness around all work areas, must possess planning/organization skills, and must be able to work under deadlines. Climbing aircraft using aircraft step and all types of ladders or stands. Standing long periods of time with minimal sitting. Ability to work under extreme weather conditions. Work site has head, hand, hearing, eye, slip and trip hazards. Proper use of PPE and proper safety procedures must be followed. Must be able to work all shifts. Full-time employment: however, 40 hours is not guaranteed per-week. Working hours; must be able to be flexible, start time and end time will be dependent on flight schedule and or overall tasking.
