Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Three 12-hour shifts per week; on-call may be required | No block scheduling available

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team
• Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible parties
• Apply nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records and meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
• Contribute to a healthy workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management

Required Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Operating Room clinical experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a perioperative or surgical services environment
• Familiarity with recovery room or procedural care settings
• Participation in continuing education and professional development activities
