Title - Senior Designer & Multimedia Producer Onsite - Dobbs Ferry- Westchester- NY Full Time Reports to COO Salary - $95,000- $115,000 " Applications without a Portfolio submission will not be considered" About Sun Scientific Sun Scientific is a medical device company based in Westchester County, New York. We design and manufacture the Aero-Wrap family of adjustable compression garments and related products used in the treatment of lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency, lower-extremity swelling and chronic wounds. Our products are prescribed by vein specialists, wound care clinicians and lymphedema therapists across the country, and reach patients through clinical practices and durable medical equipment partners. About the role This is the production engine of our marketing team. You will design, shoot, edit and build — print, packaging, video, photography and presentations — for a medical device company whose materials go into clinics, operating schedules and patients' hands. It is a broad craft role rather than a narrow one. In a given week you might rebuild a clinician brochure, shoot product photography, cut an instructional video, lay out a packaging insert and rebuild a physician's conference deck. If you like doing one thing all day, this is not the job. If you like being the person who can make anything, it is. You will work closely with the Creative Director, who sets direction and reviews the work, and with product engineering and quality on regulated materials. What you'll do Design and print Design brochures, sales sheets, one-pagers, catalogues, size guides, instructional cards and educational cards. Produce packaging inserts, product labels, on-garment printed instruction and instructions for use, working within real manufacturing constraints. Design conference and environmental graphics — banners, booth panels, posters and signage. Prepare print-ready files and see proofs through to approval with our print vendors. Rebuild information hierarchy and copy density rather than laying out supplied content as-is. Video and instructional media Produce video end to end: scripting, storyboarding, shooting, editing, motion graphics, audio and color. Own our product instructional video library — deciding which steps need visualizing and reviewing garment positioning frame by frame for accuracy. Produce patient testimonial and case-study video under consent constraints. Produce training and sales-pitch video, and short-form social cuts. Photography Shoot product, lifestyle, event, clinician and headshot photography, including multi-day content shoots. Plan shoots — scheduling, talent coordination, studio booking and direction on the day. Retouch and composite while keeping the medical product visually accurate. Presentations and support Build and rebuild physician and executive presentations, including late revisions under conference deadlines. Produce paired English and Spanish versions of patient-facing material. Maintain source files, version control and the shared asset library. What we're looking for 5+ years in a senior design, multimedia or in-house creative role. Ability to work cross functionally and provide guidance and team leadership to other junior resources. Genuine dual capability in design and video. Both need to be strong — this role cannot outsource either. Expert Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, After Effects a plus. Print production fundamentals — bleed, safe areas, color, resolution, spot colour and proofing. Photography and retouching ability, including shooting product. Excellent typography, layout and information hierarchy. Attention to detail on technical accuracy — you notice when a diagram shows the product used incorrectly. Organized file, version and asset management habits. Willingness to work on-site in Dobbs Ferry, NY, with occasional travel for shoots and conferences. Nice to have Medical device, healthcare, scientific or other technical-product experience. Packaging, labeling or regulated document experience. Motion graphics, medical or technical illustration. HTML and CSS comfort for document and email production. Spanish, or experience with bilingual layouts. Your application Send a résumé and portfolio.
