The Lead Solution Consultant partners with the field sales team to discover and understand customer business challenges, complex processes, and architectural landscapes in order to build world-class integrated solutions leveraging Docusign's platform and suite of products. Through engaging stories and custom-built demonstrations, they illustrate the value and benefits of modernizing a prospect's System of Agreement via the Docusign offering.This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Solution Consulting.ResponsibilityCollaborate with the field sales team to cultivate and secure net-new business within an assigned territory and targeted accountsUncover, comprehend, and document complex business challenges, processes, and enterprise architectureEngage in meaningful business and technical conversations, sharing industry insights with key stakeholders at all levels and across business units within enterprise organizationsEstablish technical credibility and build confidence in recommended solutions leveraging product expertise, custom product demonstrations, technical Q&A, business process diagrams, and product roadmap discussionsArticulate selected recommendations and the business value they provide to diverse audiencesWork collaboratively with sales partners and other internal teams to provide a world-class buying experienceDemo and sell based on value-selling methodologies defined by the companyJob DesignationRemote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.What you bringBasic8+ years of prior experience within a mid-market or enterprise-level, pre-sales role selling SaaS solutions and conceptsBS/BA degree or equivalent in relevant work experiencePreferred10+ years of prior pre-sales experience within a mid-market or enterprise-level SaaS offering, ideally cloud basedProficient in delivering software demonstrations in person and virtuallyExperience with technical business documentation like workflow diagrams, proposals, SOWS, RFPs and RFIs, etcProven experience working with employees at all levels of an organizationFamiliarity with enterprise-class software systems like ERP, CRM and ECM systemsFamiliarity with system integration methods such as web services, SOAP APIs and REST APIsFamiliarity with web-based solutions, website development, HTML, XML and structured dataFamiliarity with electronic signature conceptsStrong verbal and written communication skillsWage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:California: $152,700.00 - $231,625.00 base salaryIllinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $148,300.00 - $215,050.00 base salaryWashington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $148,300.00 - $221,400.00 base salaryWashington DC: $152,700.00 - $221,400.00 base salaryOhio: $141,000.00 - $204,450.00 base salary This role is also eligible for the following:Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals.
