Our organization is looking for an ENDOCRINOLOGIST to join the faculty within the Division of Endocrinology. This role will contribute to our growing program focused on patient care, education, and academic research. The successful candidate will provide care in general Endocrinology, particularly emphasizing diabetes, while also engaging in teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

• MD (or equivalent from another country). Must be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A demonstrated interest in clinical research, especially concerning diabetes-related conditions.

Special Notes

This is a Tenure/Non-Tenure Track position and is classified as FLSA Exempt, meaning it is not eligible for overtime pay. To be considered for tenure or a senior faculty role, candidates must meet the criteria set forth by the School of Medicine.

With 624 beds, our hospital serves as Suffolk County's sole tertiary care center and Regional Trauma Center. The Medical and Research Translation (MART) building houses outpatient services for the Cancer Center and dedicated floors for cancer research.
