Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer position available with a growing manufacturer in the Atlanta, GA area.


This is a direct hire opportunity with a pay range of $80k-$88k. This is a remote position with travel required. Possible travel to other markets as well. The Field Service Engineer will install and repair machines and accessory equipment. Client company benefits available.


Field Service Engineer areas of responsibility include:
-New machine and product installations
-Electrical and mechanical CMM service
-All weekly paperwork such as service reports, timesheets, call reports and expense reports.
-Dealer support and training
-Customer training
-Trade show support including set up and tear down
-All other duties as required
-Professionally represent company to customers at all times

Qualifications for the Field Service Engineer:
-Electrical aptitude, soldering skills
-Technical degree or equivalent experience
-Strong mechanical aptitude
-Prior metrology experience required
-Knowledge of CMM’s
-Strong customer service skills
-Must be open to travel anywhere where required, 75% travel
