Oracle EPM Cloud Administrator, Digital FP&A

The RoleModerna is seeking a Product Manager, Financial Planning Technology to help design, build, and evolve digital capabilities supporting FP&A and enterprise financial planning.This role will serve as a key technology partner to FP&A, translating business needs into scalable solutions across Oracle EPM Cloud and the broader Finance technology ecosystem, including SAP, enterprise data platforms, reporting, analytics, and AI.The successful candidate will combine strong Financial Planning domain knowledge with hands-on technology experience to enhance existing capabilities and build new solutions supporting budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and management reporting.This role will also help shape the next generation of Financial Planning capabilities by exploring and applying AI, advanced analytics, and automation to improve forecasting, generate insights, simplify planning processes, and enhance Finance decision-making.Here’s What You’ll DoPartner with FP&A stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into product requirements and scalable technology solutionsDesign, build, test, and implement new capabilities and enhancements within Oracle EPM CloudLead small to mid-sized Financial Planning technology initiatives from requirements and design through implementation and adoptionEnhance capabilities supporting Budgeting, Forecasting, LRP, Revenue, OpEx, Workforce, CapEx, Allocations, and Management ReportingApply strong functional and technical judgment to solve complex planning, calculation, data, integration, and reporting challengesDesign solutions across the end-to-end Finance ecosystem, considering SAP, master data, EPM, enterprise data platforms, reporting, analytics, and downstream consumptionIdentify opportunities to simplify and automate planning processes and improve the FP&A user experienceExplore, prototype, and help implement AI-enabled capabilities for forecasting, scenario analysis, variance insights, planning automation, and decision supportEvaluate emerging Oracle EPM, analytics, and AI capabilities and recommend practical opportunities for adoptionPartner with Data, Analytics, AI, Finance, and Digital teams to deliver integrated Financial Planning solutionsEstablish and follow strong practices for solution design, testing, documentation, deployment, and change managementPartner with operational support resources to transition new solutions and enhancements into stable productionProvide technical guidance to colleagues and contribute to the continued evolution of the Financial Planning Technology product roadmapHere’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field7+ years of relevant experience in Financial Planning systems, Finance technology, EPM, or related enterprise applications4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud / PBCS / EPBCS, including configuration, development, or solution implementationExperience supporting or implementing enterprise Budgeting, Forecasting, and/or Long-Range Planning processesExperience working with financial data integrations and upstream/downstream enterprise systemsDemonstrated experience translating business requirements into technology solutions and delivering enhancements through implementationHere’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)Strong understanding of FP&A processes including Revenue, OpEx, Workforce, CapEx, Allocations, Currency, and Management ReportingHands-on experience with Oracle EPM capabilities such as Calculation Manager, Groovy, Data Integration, EPM Automate, REST APIs, Smart View, and business rulesWorking knowledge of Oracle FCCS capabilities a plusUnderstanding of SAP Finance and enterprise financial/master data structuresExperience with data and analytics technologies such as AWS, Redshift, S3, Tableau, Databricks, SQL, or PythonExperience or demonstrated interest in applying predictive analytics, or Generative AI to Finance and FP&A use casesAbility to evaluate where AI, advanced analytics, or automation can practically improve Financial Planning processes and outcomesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate multiple sources of information and exercise independent judgmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to guide and influence cross-functional stakeholdersExperience in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, or another regulated industry preferredSelf-directed with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentA desire to make an impact as part of a company that is Bold, Relentless, Curious, and CollaborativeOur Working Model As we build our company, we have always believed an in-person culture is critical to our success. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An individual’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, and business or organizational needs.
